Mental Health Forum

Wendy Gadsby is very excited to have been asked to be on the panel of this Mental Health Forum.

Wendy, as a hypnotherapist who works with people to help them improve their mental health, will be on the panel with (speaker) psychologist Pamela Brown, Doctors Nivedita Nagarale and Jacob Opio and mental health nurse Jo Shakerola.

Come along to hear the speaker and to join our open panel discussion.

The purpose of this forum is to:

  • Lift the Lid on Mental Illness and open the discussion on different methods and tools to help.
  • Acknowledge that it’s OK to seek help for a mental health concern
  • Continue to talk about mental health and it’s importance
  • Address such issues as PTSD, anxiety, depression, family violence and other mental health issues

Our speaker

Pamela Brown is a member of the Rotary Club of Melbourne and a psychologist who specialises in the treatment of traumatic memories for adults and children.

She has previously held positions as the Director for Social Justice and Women’s Desk Officer in the Department of Immigration working on policies affecting migrant women including protection visas for victims of violence.

Pam has been a Psychology Member of the ACT Victims of Crime Advisory Board and Chair of the Family Violence Working Group.
